   Hello! My name is Andy, and I am a U.S. Coast Guard Veteran, a prior Merchant Mariner, and a Grad Student about to graduate here at Florida State University. I have circumnavigated the world on a ship, been north of Alaska and around the tip of South Africa. I had been a chef and professional sailor before deciding to go back to school to get my degree in Information Technology. When I graduate, I want to work in IT as Consulting or Business Systems Analyst. I have a background that has taught me to work in high-stress environments aboard ships and be gone from my friends and family for months. I have a good work ethic and look forward to getting back into the world to contribute something meaningful again.
